Steel granulate is a highly durable blasting material designed for use in mechanical shot blasters with blast wheels.

Like steel grit, it is used for effective cleaning of metal surfaces, descaling and preparation before further surface treatment.

In pneumatic equipment it finds application in the Shot Peening process - hardening of mechanically stressed parts such as gears, pins, axles or bearings. This process increases the fatigue strength and extends the service life of the parts being machined by compacting their surface layer.
